Alan joined bkg Service Corporation in 2004 as a principal and now serves as the company’s President and Managing Partner. 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Instrumental in more than doubling the size of the company. Implemented a variety of new systems and controls based on his understanding of the requirements of both public and private hotel ownership.
Prior to joining bkg, held several positions with public and private hotel companies where he was responsible for real estate acquisition and development. Primary focus on increasing company and share holder value, accomplished through the strategic acquisition, redevelopment and repositioning of hotel assets.
From 1998 – 2004, with LaSalle Hotel Properties (NYSE: LHO) serving as its senior vice president of acquisitions and development. Completed hotel real estate transactions in excess of $700 million and was responsible for more than $150 million in hotel renovation projects.
Prior to LaSalle, vice president of development for Meristar Hospitality and vice president of development for Metro Hotels.
Received a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from Southern Methodist University. Member of the Cornell Hotel Society. Alan is married, has a daughter and son and has a dog.
Bob founded bkg Service Corporation in 1987 and serves as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Successfully completed hundreds of hospitality related new construction and renovation projects during the past 30 years. Involved in many special assignments including office buildings, retail shopping centers, multi-family housing, mixed used developments, golf courses and single-family luxury residential subdivisions.
Involved in the development and construction side of the hospitality industry for almost 50 years.
From 1982 – 1984, served as senior vice president of Pratt Hotel Corporation. Developed $157 million in hotels and was responsible for site selection, design, budgeting, construction, purchasing and financial packaging.
In 1971, co-founded Metro Hotels and served as senior vice president responsible for all development and construction activities. Served as president of Metro Procurement, which provided FF&E purchasing services for all owned and operated hotels.
Bob received a BS in Management and Marketing from San Diego State University. Member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants. Bob is married, has two daughters, five grandsons and one dog.
Bryan joined bkg Service Corporation in 2017 as Vice President. He comes to bkg with 12 years experience in residential real estate with one of the largest home builders in the country, NVR Inc.
Prior to joining bkg, Bryan held many positions with Ryan Homes (NYSE: NVR). These included Project Manager, Sales and Marketing Representative, Division Construction Cost Manager, and Division Sales Manager. While most of his time was spent in the Buffalo, New York market, he also worked in Rochester, New York and finished his time with Ryan Homes in Raleigh, North Carolina. His knowledge and experience will prove to be critical to the future growth of bkg.
Bryan received a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2005. He is married to his wife Tammy and has three children, Kennedy, Kellan, and Liam. Bryan enjoys coaching youth basketball and is an avid golfer.
